- Meanwhile prepare jaggery syrup adding crushed cardamom pods.
- Add jaggery syrup to the cooked foxtail millet and mix thoroughly. Cook furthermore for 2/3 minutes till right consistency is achieved.
- Heat small kadhai and pour ghee into it. Fry dry fruits till they change colour. Add some of dry fruits to the sweet Pongal and remaining for garnishing. Foxtail millet sweet Pongal is ready to serve.
