  6. When the rice is ready. One can now prepare the stew.
  7. Place the onion on heat. Untill they cook. And star frequently to cook well.
  8. Once it s cooked you can add the sliced tomatoes and Ndania.
  9. Continue starring untill the tomatoes are well cooked.
  10. Add the smashed garlic and jinger. And 1 tea spoon of salt.star it to cook well.
  11. Add the peeled and sliced potatoes and carrots.star and give it some 10mins to cook.when you find it sticking one can add some small amount of water.
  12. When the potatoes are almost cooked you can add cooked greengrams (ndengu).
  13. Star it. And cover it with a sufuria lid.
  14. Once the potatoes are ready you can now serve with boiled rice….
